Your wedding glow, crafted with precision.

From engagement photos to the honeymoon, create a natural, luminous glow that's thoughtfully planned around your skin, your events, your makeup, your dress and your photography.

Private appointments·Santa Cruz·Expert color matching·Established 2007

Your wedding day is not the time to experiment with your skin.

Your wedding will be photographed from every angle. Your dress will reveal more than your everyday wardrobe. Your skin will be seen beside white, ivory, champagne and delicate fabrics. Your makeup will be professionally matched to your complexion. And the photographs will live with you for years. That's why bridal tanning deserves more than a quick appointment.

It should be tested first, then planned.

Planned, not guessed

Why a wedding tan is planned, not guessed.

A wedding spray tan works the same way as any other appointment. Every deSoleil tan is custom: Jana matches the formula and depth to your skin and applies it by hand, as she has since 2007. What changes for a wedding is the planning around it. You see your color on a trial first, so the final appointment, timed to the ceremony, holds no surprises.

The camera-ready glow

Your engagement session is usually the first time a professional photographs the two of you. An engagement photo spray tan shows you how your color reads on camera, which tells you a lot about what you'll want for the wedding.

Trial. Refine. Plan. Glow.

Your wedding-day result should not be an experiment.

01

Trial

Your first appointment shows how your skin takes the color and which depth you like. Schedule it any time at least two weeks before the wedding, so it has fully faded before your final tan.

Refine

Assess how the color develops. Consider undertone, hydration and personal preference. Adjust where necessary.

The makeup artist connection

Your tan is part of your complexion.

On wedding morning, your skin becomes the canvas for professional makeup.

Foundation. Contour. Blush. Highlight. Photography.

That's why bridal tanning belongs in your overall beauty plan. Your custom color is planned with your foundation match, makeup style, dress and the light at your venue in mind, so your makeup artist is working with your complexion rather than around it.

Your wedding deserves an expert, not a generic shade.

Nearly two decades as a private, appointment-only studio, using Infinity Sun formulas from the first day. Your trial and your final tan are both done by Jana, so the person applying your wedding-day color has already seen how your skin develops. Your tan is custom to your skin, whatever its tone, and every bridal plan takes in:

Natural doesn't mean barely there. It means beautifully believable.

Your people. Your photos. Your glow.

Nobody in the wedding party needs to match. A bridesmaid spray tan is chosen for her own skin the same way yours is, so everyone looks like themselves and the group still photographs well together.

Bridal fears

The questions everyone asks first.

You don't have to figure this out yourself. There's a process for this.

What if it looks unnatural?

Color is chosen to suit your natural undertone, not simply to make you darker. The trial lets you see the result on your own skin, in daylight, weeks before it matters.

What if it's too dark?

Your depth is settled during the trial. If you'd like the wedding color lighter, Jana adjusts the formula or your rinse time for the final tan.

What if it looks fake in photographs?

The goal is even, believable color with natural dimension. If you tan before your engagement photos, you will already know how it reads on camera.

What if I've never had a spray tan?

That's exactly why the trial exists. The appointment takes about twenty minutes, you stand the whole time, and you leave knowing what the wedding tan will feel like.

What if my skin is dry?

Prep makes the biggest difference here. Gentle glove exfoliation at every shower, plenty of water and regular moisturizing in the weeks before keep the color even, and skipped prep can show in the result. Read the Bronze Protocol

What if I don't know what color I want?

You don't need to arrive knowing. The formula is chosen in a conversation about your skin, undertone, schedule and the depth you're after, and it can change at the final appointment if the trial suggests something different.

“I’ve never felt more comfortable in a studio. Jana has this incredible way of matching your skin so perfectly that you just feel like the best version of yourself, not like you’re wearing a tan.”

Editorial client

“The development is so even and natural. I was worried about my wedding dress, but the deSoleil result was absolute perfection.”

Bride

“The technical artistry is evident in every minor detail. My skin remains deeply moisturized, and the color is elegant yet transformative.”

Frequently asked

Bridal spray tanning, answered.

How far before my wedding should I schedule my trial?

Any time at least two weeks before the wedding. That gives the trial color time to fade completely before your final tan, and leaves room to change anything you'd like.

Do I need a trial?

It isn't required, but it's the surest way to know your wedding color ahead of time. It matters most if you've never had a spray tan or want a different depth than usual.

Is bridal spray tanning a different formula?

No. Every deSoleil tan is a custom spray tan, matched to your skin and applied by hand. What a wedding adds is the planning: a trial first, then a final tan timed to your ceremony.

How does bridal tanning work with makeup?

Your tan becomes part of the complexion your makeup artist matches foundation to. Let your artist know you'll be tanned, so the match is made for your wedding-day color.

When should I get my final tan?

2 to 3 days before the ceremony, never the night before. Every formula develops over about 24 hours, and Jana gives you a personal rinse time at the appointment, so the color has settled well before you dress. Read the Bronze Protocol

What about showers, parties and other pre-wedding events?

Book one to two days before each event, since every formula develops over about 24 hours. Shimmer Hydration washes off with the first shower, so shimmer for an event means a short return visit.

Can bridesmaids tan too?

Yes. A bridesmaid spray tan is chosen for her own skin, not matched to yours. Bridesmaids, groomsmen, mothers of the couple and the rest of your wedding party can be scheduled around your events.

Can you accommodate different skin tones?

Yes. The formula and depth are chosen for each person's skin and undertone, so there's no single bridal shade. On deeper skin the aim is often even tone and luminosity rather than more depth.

I've never spray tanned before. Is that a problem?

No. The trial is where you find out how your skin takes color and what the appointment feels like, well before the date that counts.

Will the tan get on my dress?

The color washes out of most fabrics, though that can't be guaranteed. With your final tan 2 to 3 days before the ceremony, you'll have rinsed and showered well before the dress goes on.
